In this episode, Misty sits down with Spencer in the Sweat Studio to break down the stigma of what it means to be a salesperson and how vital it is for marketers to be trained in sales as well. Spencer reveals his decades-long journey in building companies and empowering individuals to reach their fullest potential. If the idea of selling leaves a bad taste in your mouth, challenge your preconceived notions and listen to this episode of Marketing Sweats. You might walk away with a fresh new perspective.

I find sales fascinating, because sales, quite simply, is a skill. It’s a different skill to being a lawyer. It’s a different skill to being a surgeon. But it’s a skill. Yet we think we can bypass the learning of sales as a profession then become competent in it. So, don’t you dare become a salesperson without taking the skill of being a salesperson seriously.
