Marketing Law: How We Cover Our Legal Bases with Joe Rosenbaum

IN THIS EPISODE

Translating Legalese in the Advertising and Marketing World

Joe Rosenbaum believes lawyers who bill based on hours worked are encouraged to be inefficient. That’s why he takes a different approach to best serve his clients. He’s an advertising lawyer whose background in teaching makes him valuable at simplifying the legal process for marketers to maximize productivity. His position as the general counsel for AMIN (Advertising & Marketing Independent Network), the network of agencies Simantel is a part of, is how his relationship with Simantel owner Tim Leesman began. Since then, Joe has been Simantel’s trusted advisor.

In this episode, Misty and Tim sit down with Joe in the Sweat Studio to talk about all things marketing law without diving into the boring fine print of legalese. If you’ve ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of a marketing agency to ensure companies avoid litigation, tune into this episode of Marketing Sweats.

“When working with agencies, one of the things that I find rewarding is, when there are [legal] issues, being able to find creative solutions that allow you to grow a business relationship. It’s extraordinarily important to me, because it means that I’m actually helping you move forward.”
